So that we can procreate? And then what? So those kids can grow up and procreate? For what purpose? To procreate with perpetuity? WTF is the point of all this??
From my point of view, there isn’t one. Life itself is illogical. The ultimate goal is “to survive” and live as long as possible. This exists for all sentient creatures… not sure about the plant world but to some degree the desire to “live” is somewhere in there. There’s many debates on the matter, my personal thoughts given the strong desire for procreation in all living things, this must be the sole reason for existence. It’s in the programming, a natural desire… There’s exceptions to the rule though but it is applicable majority of the time.
That’s why I have such a hard time wanting to live, bc it all seems so pointless. There’s no reason other than our biological need for procreation, to continue the species, but for what? Nothing.
I suppose that for a lot of people (maybe most), there is joy to be found in the simple processes of living. When they procreate, they pass that on – so life becomes a gift that they give to their children.
But then we’re exposed to something that leads us to question the value of life. And suddenly, we’re left searching the emptiness, looking for something greater.
There is no point luv.
Just enjoy the life, However possible.
Be happy with yourself, cause no one cares.
It’s the utter truth of life.
Finding a true friend or love. It’s impossible.
(I find my love but my illness is eating me. I feel like I am so close to my end. But again then, if I die, my suffering will be over. But it can’t be over. I have endless suffering destined for me.)
Igonre me. Pardon me. ( I’m sad, vulnerable and alone at home.)
There is no point, as it’s a vicious circle. Like you commented we are all destined to form some kind of depression over time, each generation having a higher % than the previous. Then we’ll all go nuts and kill each other.

And then some of us are afflicted with perpetual depression to boot.
