I’ve flown a handful of times— never international— and I hated it every time. Not only am I scared of heights (and getting blown to smithereens by terrorists or being smashed into a mountainside by a malicious pilot) but I get extremely motion-sick and the elevation feels like knives in my ears.
I love boat travel, I adore trains, I’m down for road-trips no matter how long and cramped, but planes are death machines from Hell and I refuse to be seduced by the allure of their convenience.

Well, we can pretend. 🙂
No flying for me this weekend. At least yet….
No way. Caged.
I’d love to fly, but I hate planes.
The closest I’ve ever come to experiencing no-plane flight was seeing “Chronicle” in the theaters.
I am not a fan of aeroplanes, either. They frighten me to some degree; although I have flown many a time.
Good to see I’m not the only one.

Please forgive me but I had to chuckle just a bit at your post, it was so cute. My favorite part: @malicious pilot HAHA
And I love this part as well@ death machines from.
I love trains, boats, and car trips, I am down for just about anything that allows me to escape the confines that are these walls.
No need for forgiveness! Laughter is the evergreen of life, or so says Abraham Lincoln. 🙂
On your last sentence: I have a sneaking suspicion that if travel were easy and free, this site would have fewer regulars. Haha.
I couldn’t agree with you more@if travel were easy and free, this site would have fewer regulars.
Glad you didn’t take to heart me having a laugh at your words. They were priceless.
