Hey, SP! I really like a lot of the usernames you guys chose. Some are self-explanatory, others I wonder what they mean. What’s your username mean and why’d you choose it?
Me: bah: represents my general mood. bah humbug, bleh, meh, eh.
Hazy Day Sunflower: It started out as Sunflower, but there is someone here that already uses that one and someone mistook her for me, so I looked outside and it was a hazy day and I thought….yeah Hazy Day Sunflower, that fits. Sunflowers are my favorite flower of them all, tough, beautiful. Little bit weed, little bit flower. My back yard is riddled with them every summer. All across Texas all summer long nothing but sunflowers growing in every conceivable place. If I was to be a flower, it would be the sunflower.
40 years ago, I lived outside San Bernardino in the lower desert. My only neighbors were native to the area. The oldest woman I ever met had trouble saying my middle name and I to this day fail to recognize myself by my first. She started calling me ToTrees, and her many children’s children followed. And to those I meet today that can’t seem to hold the thought of my name or who I am, see my heart as ToTrees
Etilamb is a reference to etizolam a little known research benzodaizapine that drove me crazy!!
YAY for the internet and it’s plethora of wild and exotic designer drugs.
Funny you referring to my name a little and delicious. The pellets came pressed in sub-lingual tablets 1 mg each with a fruit flavor. They were damn delicious indeed.
I was watching a jacksfilms video, he was reading a comment about a cat licking the air, and it sounded really weird and didn’t make sense. The last sentence of it was “such catcat”
Hiohneh is suppose to be read as “hi-aw-neh” but I highly doubt that’s correct and I again butchered the English language with my attempt at being “different.”
Well, to be more specific, it was the name of a fictional band I created when I was twelve. I never really spelled out the name until I created this account in 2014. I should have just used the “Suzy” username I had in 2011 but I forgot the password and just made a new account lol. Suzy is not my real name she is a member of a K-pop group I was obsessed with. xD
Alan Ominous, sorta sounds like anonymous. I like the name Al. Ominous by definition – giving the impression that something bad or unpleasant is going to happen; threatening; inauspicious. So suiting.
Also, it sounds like a comic book character. So if I add Doctor to the name, watch out, I’ve went to the dark side. MuwaHahahaaaaaa!
PhantomCitizen43 is pretty straight forward. A phantom is like a ghostly character and put that together with citizen it kind of implies a Citizen that is ghostly. I was thinking like a citizen that isnt a normal or full citizen. A ghost of a man and 43 that is my age at the time I enrolled here.
Wait, this isn’t the derek zoolander center for children who can’t read good and want to learn to do other good stuff tho? damn, i must have taken a wrong turn at the charles xavier school for gifted youngsters then.
It’s the name of a character that my friend and I made on an mmo we met in. His was Adam Bear haha. We don’t talk anymore but I like it. I’m a bear that wants affection.
Mine is a reference to being alone.
I’m single and disabled and I live all by myself.
If I’m not able to take care of myself, no one does.
There’s a verse that describes a strong relationship as a rope made of three strands (or three “cords”.) Since I have no relationship and I am alone in nearly every sense of the word, I am “Cord-less”.
Here’s the verse:
“Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
you are not cordless.. you are one cord, and a mate would be another cord, and God would be the third cord… and you are one of the coolest cords I vertually know.. so instead of the rapper 2 chains I should call you one cord..
Mine has been changed so many times I used to go by jjpishposh which was my nickname “jj” and a saying my grandmother had when she couldn’t be bothered “…oh pish posh”. Now plain and simple I go by stereotype because I am the stereotypical person with a mental illness – well not so much anymore. I like “bah” much better though – clever
Mine’s pretty simple. The day I broke down and finally decided to make an account here I was suffering from a serious case of brain fog. Couldn’t think at all, was just a mess.
All I could think about, for whatever reason, was how I’d gone fishing with my neighbor’s young son the day before. I have no clue why the memory was the only thing in my head. But anyway he and I caught lotsa catfish that day, cause all we had was balled-up bread for the bait. And I remember feeling really proud of myself, but only at first. The pride disappeared after the second or third fish, because they kept swallowing my hooks, and the barbs kept lodging real far down their throats. I had to remove them with pliers, and I’m sure I was hurting them. And for one fish, the hook almost pierced one of it’s eyes. I’d nearly blinded it.
They were so helpless and pitiful. Even so, they had so much fight in them. Did you know that you could leave a catfish on the bank for almost a half hour before it dies? I never did that, mind you. It’s just a fun fact. They’re so resilient. I’ve always thought they were awesome fish.
Anyway, for some reason I couldn’t get those gasping, whiskered faces outta my head, and since my brain was otherwise empty, I thought: “alrighty, whiskered-fish. Why not?”
Then I thought it’d be kinda funny if I went by the pseudonym “Kat Fische.” So, yeah. Taadaa. 🙂
Ok. Good to know.
I’d been picturing either a Koi (one of those tri-colored big goldfish with one whisker on either side of the mouth), or a plecostomus (type of bottom-feeder that cleans debris from the fishtank).
Me too. They’re also very intelligent (I mean, as far as fish go.) And if you play your cards right, you can even get them to come to you.
That’s a pretty cool observation. They do look pretty prehistoric, now that I think about it.
Somebody once told me that they hadn’t changed much since the Cretaceous period. I’m not sure if that’s true, but I’d believe it.
-sadgiraffe: because ‘sadhuman’ or ‘sadperson’ or ‘sadgirl’
doesn’t sound as good 😛 and yes I was sad
-spectralsadgiraffe: because sadgiraffe didn’t cut it 😛 nah but I got the idea of spectral from World of Warcraft. I think spectral means ‘not living’?!?!
You must love other things. You got vices, no? Alcohol, drugs, tv shows, music, sex? LOL Imagine if there’s a user called “sexnut” …although…he’d prolly get banned.

Drowning = from my thoughts depression suicidal anxiety
Yep, totally get the feeling
Thanaturge is a combination of the Greek word for death, Thanatos, and urge.

“Enrolled here.” That makes this place sound like a fancy, selective private school. 🙂

I’m a bit of a dandy, so one of my favourite things is this fashion MUSeum where they have PELts and skirts with HEMs.
Not really.
I thought it was a drunken slurred misspell ham
Or he was proclaiming MY SPELLING!!! and misspelled that.

Wow. I would have never guessed that.
and all this time I was thinking cordless….like you were missing the plug cord and either you were battery operated or just plain not working.
I guess that explanation works too! 🙂
you are not cordless.. you are one cord, and a mate would be another cord, and God would be the third cord… and you are one of the coolest cords I vertually know.. so instead of the rapper 2 chains I should call you one cord..
You are the ‘cord’ (support) to many people here

A catfish!
Ok. Good to know.
I’d been picturing either a Koi (one of those tri-colored big goldfish with one whisker on either side of the mouth), or a plecostomus (type of bottom-feeder that cleans debris from the fishtank).
Now I can picture the right kind of fish. 🙂
You know what’s funny, Cordless? My family raises koi, and used to raise pleckies! 🙂 We have a pond outside, haha.
I especially love koi because of the colors.
And I remember liking the plecostomus because it looked tough and armored, which was the opposite of me feeling fragile and vulnerable.
Me too. They’re also very intelligent (I mean, as far as fish go.) And if you play your cards right, you can even get them to come to you.

-Not interested in life: as the name says
Did i forget any? 😛
I like “Hjerteblomst”.
It would be fun to say.
Haha, I actually don’t know how to say it. Well, the H is silent methinks

You must love other things. You got vices, no? Alcohol, drugs, tv shows, music, sex? LOL Imagine if there’s a user called “sexnut” …although…he’d prolly get banned.

Sometimes those three are enough! 😉
