I used to loving making Mac and cheese. It’s so delicious. And its usually a pretty simple recipe.. Noodles, seasoning, your choice of cheese… Or cheeses… Any amount of cheese you please cause its your Mac and cheese. Mine would be either pepper jack or cream cheese.
Lately though, Mac and cheese have been the worse thing for me to cook. I can’t find the right size pan and the water is just boiling over…. The noodles are barely cooked or way over cooked… Noodles sticking the the bottom… Missing ingredients… It’s a disaster in the kitchen…
I hate Mac and cheese

Microwaveable mac and cheese is the way I roll. I can’t do anything in the kitchen except use the microwave.
Do you have a Walmart near you? I stocked my kitchen shopping there.
Microwavable? Like those little kraft cups you add water to and heat up like three minutes in the microwave? Lol yes Ive tried those before…. But nothing beats homemade Mac and cheese lol….. Well, nothing used too
lol… Yes… Those are the ones… Sans Club and BJ’s sell them in bulk… cheap. 🙂
I have no doubt that homemade mac and cheese is again in your future. We’ll find some pots and pans that’ll work. :). And we’ll make a checklist to get all those ingredients together. 🙂
I know I can get them at Meijers four for 3 something…. Or there “sale” a buck each. Lol.
I do buy them occasionally. My 1 and 1/2 year old daughter eats them… She loves Mac and Cheese. At times that’s all she’ll want all day.
I had a lot of Mac and Cheese growing up… along with PB&J. Along with Ramen noodles and frozen dinners, that’s the limit of my kitchen skills…
Ordering out, however… I have expert status…
Lmao well that’s a great skill to master..
That’s on par to how I grew up. Occasionally my mother would cook us meals.. but when she didn’t feel the need we were stuck with what we could heat up in the microwave and it sucked. Nothing ever filled me up and eating the same thing repeatedly was nauseating over time.. That’s when you grow up unattached from food. Which I suppose is a great trait right? No eating disorders. But I don’t want my daughter to eat like that. I love making delicious, healthy, fulfilling meals
My mom didn’t cook. Period! Dad took my sister and I out for fast food or we ordered out… Only if it snowed did mom hear us up something. Crazy.
My sister and I both can’t cook. In the past, I’ve been known to buy my apartment neighbors food and they’ll cook a nice meal. 🙂
Oh… I can also make cheese omelettes. 🙂
You’re doing your daughter a big service by doing that. Lots of credit to you.
