I haven’t been posting a lot. I’ve been reading but not commenting. Lurking. I’m in a valley of sorts, which I’ll take. I’ll take this over the rollercoaster I have been living for months now. I was painting a thisle but thought this cropped stem portion was lovely.

I used to do a lot of abstracts. This kind of off green used to be my favorite color. Glad you like it. I’ll post the thistle when I am done. It is going to take a few days due to the complex nature of the flower.

Hi hazy… love the song. That reggae beat floats my boat & makes me think of warm weather. Which its not in sydney atm.
The painting looks to me like a little guy walking to the edge of a pointy cliff or some kind of drop. Thats not to say i dont like it. I love it. Great contrast with that strip of pink. Beautiful.

See this is why I love abstract paintings. Everyone sees a little something. Dicks, boats….a dude jumping off a cliff. Just winning all around.
