Since like 5th grade I’ve wanted to be a teacher. That’s the reasoning I use when people ask me why. But the real reason is because I probably wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t because of one of my high school teachers. He saved my life by showing that someone actually gave a shit about me. He’s like a second dad to me and I want to be a teacher because of the effect he had on me. He kept me alive. I want to make sure students who were like me decide to live.

Hi
I am a teacher.
The best way to help students is master the subject you’ll choose to teach them and offer a discontracted class incentivating them to express what they think about the subject and also their vision about the world.
Be honest when necessary and funny when it’s the case. But remind them who is the teacher.
Correct them. State limits but also listen to their opinion and give value to what they are trying to express.
If you focus on that teaching style I mentioned here you’ll help them as people besides as students.
If you focus too much on helping them as people you can get lost and the results aren’t so efficient.
Good luck! Noble choice u r doing! 🙂
I’ve had the same experience with several teachers, and I admire them and admire you for wanting to return the help you received back to the newer generations. You will make a fine teacher I’m sure. Best of luck!
