People like that dont need a different perspective, they need a different world. Not a pair of glasses or eyes, something else to see. It’s fine, because you actually have to put yourself in someone else’s shoes, we all know thats difficult and hurts our pride

Maybe you can join different anime, movie, writers club, etc…you can feel breathe creativity with like ninded people. Also, you can feel part of something.
There are lots of gatherings for each of the interests you mentioned.

I can relate so much to your post.
I personnally love to imagine stories, write them, etc, and this is what I want to do with my life. But the facts are that you can’t live with those kind of hobbies, because unless you’re very good at it, well you’re fucked, you won’t gain any stupid money, you won’t be able to eat, to survive…
That’s basically my life right now, trying to find something useful to the society to gain money. But all I want to do is stay in my room all day long, watching anime, reading and writing books, and never get out of it.
I don’t know if you’re interested in creating your own fictional world, but I think that this industry is the future in our world. I mean, these days people are watching more and more series, movies, anime etc. People love to enter in these worlds which are so much better than the real life, and maybe, creating something on your own and hoping it get sucessful could cheer you a little. That’s what I’m trying to do right now, well, not hoping anything about it, but you know,it gives a reason to wake up when you don’t have anything better to do than watching the 750e episode of One Piece. (Love it tho)
