I can relate to that. Sometimes it’s all I can see; my past. It’s a giant wound for me.
Can you distract yourself from it for now? I suppose coming on here can be a distraction of sorts… Reading other people’s struggles, and maybe being able to relate. I don’t know if it’s worse to allow yourself to sit with the pain, or to find a way to direct the focus somewhere else. I’m often torn about that.
ever tried something like breathing meditation?
the intense focus one thing can help block everything else out for while
when I was younger and things were less intense for me, it was one of the few “healthy” ways to deal with things, that actually had an effect
completely removed me from the world, and my pains, at least for a moment.
breathing me di ta tion, you know, to meditate
like those Buddhist fellas do,
you know, where you sit, and the only thing you do is breathe in and out focusing only on the breathing
the focus can become so strong and intense you manage to block everything else out for a while
none of that “clear you mind” “ooohm” stuff, that’s obviously a bit more challenging
but the breathing meditation can be a good start if one manages to get the focus right

really trying to distract myself but i can’t. it’s hell inside the head.
Yeah I feel you. My thoughts are often all tangled up and some of them get stuck on repeat. When all I can do is watch it replay over and over.
I hope your mind gives you a break soon.
this just goes on everyday. mostly the nights are the most painful where all your demons come back to freak you
