depends on the vein and the cut, size and such, also veins and arteries are not the same thing
you could cut a vein and never die, the wound and blood can simply clot and “close” on it’s own, and on the other hand you could cut a vein and die in “fast”ish, but getting to it could be painful and difficult making you stop halfway through.

for most people it’s not a “good” way and tends to not turn out so well like they thought it might
In most cases it wont work.
You will just bleed out and eventually somebody will come and try to save you and you will wind up in the hospital
even if you did go somewhere far up into the woods and do this it would take a long time
for you to die that way. Plus it would be extremely painful.
please do not do this to yourself.
Could be fast, depending on the vein. But I wouldn’t do it. You don’t want to end up as a stupid blood fountain. Plus it would be messy and painful.
