In a couple of months, I’ll have been off and on visiting this site for about three years. Seen the SP traffic come and go. Man, that’s a weird thought. Especially considering I’ve never been suicidal. I suppose that’s one reason I tend to keep my comments somewhat sparse, and my posts even more so. The nearest I’ve been to truly suicidal thoughts is a mild flirtation with the idea, usually after a combination of too much alcohol and too much depressing music and sad self-reflection. So far in my life, existence and possibility has always seemed preferable to oblivion. But I can certainly imagine a personal future in which I’d embrace the alternate view, and can’t help but feel as if I’m steadily slipping toward it.
Whatever the case may be, I’ve always felt a certain connection with this site. With the cynical half-smiling, half-grimacing attitude. The blunt recognition of the insanity and absurdity of life, and the odd humor there is to be found in that. The general sense of apathy.
Ah, life is strange.
Also, not a bad list of songs you put up here the other day, EmptyPluto. Even added a little Perfect Circle and Porcupine Tree in there. Hell yeah.

For what it’s worth, in my time here you’ve been one of those I enjoy reading comments from.
This month marks the anniversary of when I started on here, back in ’14 too. I’ve been more serious about the subject, but ah well. Obviously stuff happens either way, but I hope that type of future stays in imagination.
Well, I’m trying to take some steps that will hopefully help to keep it there. Playing the long game. Just gotta hold on and see where the ride takes me. Cheers, freeroma.
I hope your path leads to happiness.
Hey, thanks Whispers
When I see your name I always think, ah one of the regulars. You are just part of this place, you know?
Thanks, I just wish those two groups would release some new material! Best of luck to you.
Well, Maynard always seems to be doing something new with one experimental side project or another. Not sure about lately though, haven’t been keeping up. But hey, there’s always Puscifer if you want to go really funky.
