I suppose people have been closet assholes- i.e. back in the day, we didn’t have all these non-mainstream outlets or social media to give people a platform to say what’s really on their minds. Now we do. And everyone’s disgusting thoughts and views and actions are freely available for everyone to view.
I’m not saying people sharing their feelings and thoughts are bad. I’m saying people have really horrible thoughts. All this hate, bigotry, and misogony, and companies and politicians blatantly screwing over millions of people. There is something wrong with people being such d*cks to fellow humans beings.
And also the comments people make on youtube, twitter, FB, etc. They show who they really are. Which is why my post is asking, “What the F* is wrong with people these days”? And it feels like everyone’s a jackass. Maybe there’s 1% good people left on Earth, who knows.
I agree whole heartedly. The general attitude I see on display at just about every level is one of aggression, intolerance, and overall rudeness. It’s rampant. Everyone is on edge, and set to just go off at the slightest provocation. We call ourselves evolved. Why?
Corporate practice is a sick, perverted and twisted paradigm of greed, theft and deception, and is becoming a major influence in the world. And here in america we have the biggest sociopath running the show.
Right, if this is what “evolved” is, then I’d rather humans devolve to like potatoes or something. Potatoes don’t hate each other and try to kill other potatoes.
What’s more sickening are the tons of people who agree and defend them. TONS of comments online defending these sick politicians and evil companies and corrupt cops. That bugs me. It’s bad enough a wrong has been done, but then to have people defend the heinous actions? That brings me to question humanity. Do humans have any humanity left? Most times, I think not.
I hate politics and economy, because there’s so much bullshit intertwined in it, that I don’t want to ever waste my time trying to sort it out. Idk how people have political careers at all, it’s no wonder people age so damned quickly while they are in a high political office…..
In today’s world, it seems like there’s a fine line for everything a person says or does. Everything you say or do is under a magnifying glass, and honestly it really sucks a lot of the time… People aren’t allowed to make mistakes anymore…. One tiny slip up and your career is over….
