Have you ever woken up and felt like there’s just this gigantic boulder on you holding you down ? And there’s no way you can move it. And you don’t have the energy to even try. So you just accept your fate and lie there being crushed by its weight. Even when people are screaming at you to get up. And you try to explain to them that you physically can’t. Nothing can break you out of this trance.
You stay under this boulder until the day it finally suffocates you.
That was my morning. How was yours ?

Yes. Lots. In particular, Jan 17, 2016 to Oct 21, 2016 was a pretty bad case of continuous bouldering. No boulder today, so I’m as light as a feather.
That’s great to hear. There isn’t a morning yet when I haven’t experienced the boulder feeling. I hope you have a beautiful day 🙂
Thank you. Sometimes a word or phrase or an errant idea can turn everything upside down and you find yourself sitting on top of a boulder watching a sunset. On tiny bit of help was only feeling the boulder I have today, not all the possible boulders of tomorrow. Lately, I’ve been able to drag the boulder around with me because I gnawed on it till it got smaller. There are good boulder days and bad boulder days. Chances are you will see good days. I don’t know when, I just know There Will Always Be Changes.
You’re welcome and I hope so, change is always welcome in a life like mine.
Not a boulder. but i do get sleep paralaysis if i fall asleep on my back.
That’s some scary shit. You know the film ‘the addams family’ when Fester goes to sleep the first night in the house, he starts screaming and wailing like a banshee? That’s me in paralysis mode haha. I’ve freaked out a few people with that one lol
Omfg I have sleep paralysis too !! It’s so awful I’ve only ever told one person about it. One of the most horrific things I’ve ever experienced.
Yeah same here. I didn’t even know what i was suffering from for years. Umtil the rise of the internet and i searched the keyword “waking up, can’t move”
The most awful experience i had, was one time i used to get some Amitriptyline from a friend to try and knock myself out on a nighttime.
Well not only did i have sleep paralysis that night, i was too sedated to get myself out of it. i finally woke up crying and sweating.
Do you have a way of waking up out of it? I try to concentrate on my shoulders and try and rock from side to side.
You know what’s mad though? i’ve read on forums where people purposely try and get themselves in that state, so they can achieve an out of body experience.
That sounds awful! I hope you’re okay I would hate to go through that.
The usual way I get myself out of it is I summon all my energy into my foot and I sort of push until I can move it. It’s such a rapid movement it sort of jolts me awake ? I’m not sure if that makes sense but yeah ?
That is mad why do people do this ??
Why do people always try to do things like that along with pretending to cut or have depression. It’s like they think is a fun thing to have and that it makes them intresting or something and it just really pisses me off that they don’t see the true pain and suffering of these things.
Makes perfect sense to me. In fact that makes me think of the movie inception. It’s the way they get out of the dream, like the scene where Joseph Gordon-Levitt is rocking back on his chair and someone pushes him and it gives him that ‘jolt’ to wake up.
I’m ok mate, thankyou for asking. i have learned to live with this. I feel sorry for the poor souls who get it no matter what position they sleep in.
Ahahah yesssss well I’m glad it makes sense.
And that’s pretty much me , doesn’t matter which position I fall asleep in it’ll happen whenever. I didn’t even know that some people had to fall asleep in a certain postition for it to happen tbh.
