.
It’s been maybe a year since I was in the habit of visiting and commenting here each day.
Rough year.
But here are some pictures I took today. Lots of greenery next to a peaceful river while I treated myself to some ice cream. (Highly recommended).
I wonder if any of the same people are still here, or are you all new?
Either way, hi.

I remember you. You taught me that the French horn is tuned to F#. For some reason I found that fascinating and it’s stuck with me.
Thanks, sorry you feel the need to revisit a site like this.
Morris!
Apparently I have failed you miserably.
French Horn is in the key of F… and the double horns are in F/Bb.
Triple horns are in High-F, Bb, and Low F.
I bought a new one since the last time I was here.
But hey, good to see you’re still here!
I mean… well, you know what I mean. 🙂
Hai. I’m so sorry.
I claim to remember you yet I completely forgot what you said.
Hahaha
It’s ok.
You can misquote me anytime you want.
Almost anytime.
Wait. Was it B flat?
Single horns are in F.
Double horns have a thumb trigger that can switch from F into B-flat.
So horn players need to know two different sets of note-fingerings, depending on whether the thumb trigger is pressed.
Like the pics. Thanks.
So much green!
I like it too. 🙂
Ah Cordless, *hugs* I’ve thought of you every once in awhile, wondering how you were… I hope you are still composing music…
It’s been a long time since I’ve composed anything.
I should get back into that, probably.
It was good fun, and I enjoyed sharing it here.
Finally I figured out how to log in using my phone.
The laptop still had all the old passwords saved, so I didn’t need to remember anything.
But the phone… Ahhh. No.
Still, I eventually figured it out.
So now I can visit more often, even when the WiFi doesn’t work.
I have missed you people here!
Yo, yo. I actually went on a hike earlier today. It’s good to get some fresh air without having to wear a surgical mask.
I can’t hike, but I can park the car next to pretty places. 🙂
Fresh air and ice cream go well together.
Hey Cordless. I had wondered if you’d show up here again. I vaguely remember promising to toss a stone into a river in a ritualistic manner in your honor, haha. Haven’t found myself in the vicinity of a river since then, I’m afraid. Perhaps I’m the metaphysical cause of your continuing woes.
I go through the same deal, coming to this site after awhile, wondering how many familiar names I’ll see.
There’s no expiration date on the stone-throwing opportunity.
Go right ahead.
If there are no rivers, mud puddles might also count.
It’s complainers complaining about whatever.
Whatever.
(That’s pretty much everyone) .
Almost like real life!
You’re right, it’s all just a dream.
We’ll wake up after we’re dead.
(That’s the story I’m sticking with).
Nice pictures. Nature is the best. Can soothe the frayed nerves of my weary soul like nothing else quite does.
Absolutely.
🙂
Nice pictures, Cordless. It’s good to see you.
It’s good to be back.
Well… you know what I mean.
🙂
