I got another bill from Tuckers. How can I get medical help when I can’t afford it? I know, just stop being depress and magically suck everything up like a sponge. I just got a job, and guess what it’ll all going to go to paying bills. Most of dept is college, hell the debt on one my credit cards is college, and I’m still working shit jobs, scraping the barrel to pay bills. Over 90% percent of my debt is college. Rarely do I spend money for myself. Bad enough that I have a dad who is always bitching to me about money, but I know the game he plays. Can’t ever spend money without feeling bad about it, and no I am not getting some manicure every week. I get bitched for buying a sightly higher costing bag of chips at the grocery store. Oh, those are luxury chips. Yeah, I think I too good to always be eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Can’t keep a job, then it’s back to debt building up again because you have no money.
My solution quit paying your bills. Stop being a slave to the system. Everything around you is a trap to get you into debt. I know that my dad wants me to work like ****** while he collects the money. (I wasn’t making a racist pun just an expression) My credit score will go down the drain, so it”s best to be prepared, never can get off the ground anyway, so a credit score is useless to me. I know that I’m going to get some scare tactics used on me. I dunno like I’ll get the IRS after me. Rarely, do people who can’t pay off debts go to jail. The government can’t take away the house or vehicle because it is not in my name, so what can the government do.
I think that my debt will taken out my and other’s tax dollars, and people will be angry because this debt is my fault, and it should be my responsibility to pay it. Yeah, and if I did pay it, you’ll still wouldn’t be happy with me. I’m adding the American government, which is trillions in debt. The American government has pissed away more money, than what a million people could make in their lifetime. They have wasted it more on stupid shit like war on terrorism, then they really have on taking care its own people, even those welfare queens that people like to complain about. America wishes that it had the debt that I was in, then people could pay it off so easily like a fart in the wind. I did research, and I realized that I’m not alone, millions of students are refusing to pay their loans back as a protest to the government. Plus, if America is destined to collapse it’ll do with or without my help. Everyone will run around like a pack of wild dogs, but hopefully I won’t live long enough to witness it.
Oh, stop being so entitled. (Whip, whip) Tsk, tsk, trying to guilt me into paying my bills by making me feel bad. Nice Try. BTW, put that whip away, before I use on you. From experience, the ones who go around accusing others of being selfish, narcissistic, or entitled, then to be those things they point out. They also know that you’re are a good person, and if they make you feel like you’re not a good person, then you’ll want to prove them wrong, thus you fall into their trap. The world won’t ever accept me, so why bother? Do what you want. That’s the beauty of being an outcast.
Now let me kick back my feet, and smoke a big dukee.

Debt sucks. All I can say is I admire you for living modestly and trying to pay it off. I was so happy when I managed to pay mine off (it wasn’t that big). Good luck!
Except I won’t bother paying it off any longer. I feel as though power has returned to me.
I’ve never or very rarely debted myself to friends or family. If imhave borrowed money off them, it gets payed back pronto.
As for the .gov and big corporations, they can kiss my fucking ass.
When i read about tax havens for the rich and Corporations not paying tax into the country, well my feelings towards the ‘elite’ are go fuck yourself.
Over the past few years, there has been some stories that have made me chuckle (not in a good way) Vodafone owed billions in tax, Starbucks never made a profit in years hahaha. Politicians claiming expenses for traveling 200 yards down the road.
While all this is happening, people on disability get sanctioned. People on job seekers get sanctioned. There was a demand for answers a couple of years ago about how many people had killed themselves after losing their benefits. I believe the number was in the thousands.
I feel no guilt at all about being in debt to a corrupt corporation, while they have hot shit lawyers help them not pay tax back into the country.
Then when they get caught, they say “i’m sorry i got caught” lol Not that they are sorry about being greedy, cheating scumbags.
That’s a good point you brought up. The wealthy can get away with not paying their taxes, but ordinary citizens oh no they got to pay up.
Indeed. It’s not just money though is it? it’s justice as well. 1 rule for them, the other for us.
Im not saying there is not good wealthy people out there, but it breaks me to read punishment differences between the rich and poor.
A few thoughts about debt. This is from my own research so please look into this for yourself when you can. that said, here goes.
You cannot go to jail just for credit card debt. However, a portion of your wages, not to exceed 25%, could be garnished. A timely bankruptcy will stop garnishment and/or collection efforts by this companies in their tracks.
Student loan debt. If it goes unpaid, but you are still working, any income tax refund due you will likely go toward the student loans. Just file your taxes and assuming you are owed something, the debt may begin to go away in this manner. If you had a cosigner, the government will try to collect from them as well.
Strictly speaking, it is illegal to jail anyone for debt in the US. However, if the debt was court ordered, such as is the case the case for child support, nonpayment can be deemed contempt of court and this could subject you to jail. Also there are very rare instances in which a person is court ordered to pay a debt, doesn’t. and gets arrested for contempt of court. However, it appears to me that the real issue at stake in these matters has been a failure to appear rather than the money itself. Hope this helped.
I know how you are feeling. A lot of people are told to go onto college although college does not guarantee an income. While in high school and looking at the future I was told to go to college. But what to take? I asked several teachers and professors what to go into. I wanted to be an engineer, but did not have the money, so I settled on accounting. Big mistake. Not only was there no money in it, I hated it. I made more money in High School waiting tables than I did as an accountant working for a big 4 firm. They worked us to death. Many left looking outside of Florida. I was told early on that the “money” was north. But how to get there?
The fact of the matter is that nobody tells high school students that most college education is useless. There is flood of accountants, attorney’s, teachers, engineers, and the like. I know someone with a doctorate of business administration and she cannot find a job. The thing teachers should do is to be honest and teach students how to make a living. I know people in trades like electrician that make more than most doctors.
The terrible thing is that the US revolves on debt. Many people go to college and get into debt. Many come out with two degrees and are in debt. Many get graduate degrees and are in debt. So why do people do it? We do it because we follow the system. We follow people before us. We believe we have to do it, but we do not. The best thing for anyone to do is to learn how to make a living. Get out there and learn about the real world. Learn how to be self sufficient. Too many out there are scared to do it, so they stay in school.
We make the mistake of following the pack.
You are not alone. There are many, many more out there like you.
