That’s technically incorrect. Suicide IS an option for anyone physically capable of it. The thing we must decide for ourselves is whether to let it remain just an option, or to make it our choice, our reality.
I completely agree, suicide is of course an option. All things but 3 are optional. You must be born, you must die, and you must physically take up space. Being born is of course by chance but it happens regardless of choice, and death is an inevitability, and you can’t help but physically exist in some way. But yes, suicide is an option when faced with the question of whether or not life is appealing enough to continue living.
