Acrylic.. I uploaded a filtered copy.
I’ve had that feeling with some pictures, but this is a rough draft for an idea I’ve carried awhile.. it was nice to focus on something positive.
I really have no idea how you made some of the photos you’ve posted.. It’s nice to use different mediums, though. and yeah, it’s not something that’s going to disappear.
I did not see the copy you uploaded, I will have to look because I am definitely intrigued. I’m glad you found some sort of relief through being creative. It’s one of my healthiest coping mechanisms.
I usually work with acrylic as well. Although, I’m not that great of a painter, I do enjoy the process. It’s almost meditative at times… but like I’ve said, it’s been a while.
I’m sort of bummed with myself because I got some oil pastels over the winter too, and have yet to play around with them. I suppose I will when the time is right (?).
The photos I make are just warped/distorted images. So basically, I will take a photo of something that I feel would be fun to fuck around with, and start “bending my reality”. It’s like photography on shrooms or something ^_^ I use an app as my “warping tool”. It’s fun to do, and often calms me (when I get all anxious or panicky)

makes me think of a firework.
It also makes me think of a flower…
How are you feeling today?
That was actually my first thought.. just one of moving light.
I’m.. ok-ish. sorta. Actually painted today, so that’s something.
What style of painting? Did it feel like a release of some of the stuff you usually keep pent up?
It’s been a while since I’ve painted, but I’ve had a lot of other stuff to deal with, so it’s okay. I can pick back up again at a later time.

@freeroma sorry, I deleted my last post because I didn’t like the piece I shared.
I’m glad I’ve gotten to talk with you though 🙂
ah, that’s ok.
But likewise. I hope you have a good night.
