Why bother having all of the mansions, cars and money if you got nobody by your side to share it with? Why live a life when the one you love the most is with someone else?

Going through life without love, friendship, or even a decent support system (while having to watch others effortlessly get everything you’ve been deprived of for so long) is completely demoralizing. Like you, I see no point in being a workhorse if there’s nothing in it for me besides mere survival. At this stage, my time would be better spent preparing to live away from society, where at least I could be alone instead of lonely all the time.

Would have to disagree. most of my happiness in life comes from the peace i have being alone. people are obnoxious, confrontational, contrary, biased, violent and ultimately self-serving no matter how they arrogantly justify their actions. Being alone i can breathe easily and appreciate the beauty of the world. With other folks around it’s just never ending noise. Can’t even think straight.
