The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has raised $654,121. And yet if you go to their website looking for help, all they have is the number for the National Suicide Hotline which they don’t even fund.

Check it out yourself. Go to the website for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (afsp.org) and weed through all the DONATE HERE pages and goofy stock pictures of happy people, navigate your way to “Find Support” and then click the blue button “I’m having thoughts of suicide”.

All it has are 3 links to other sites: Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Veterans Crisis Line, and Crisis Text – all of which are funded by the federal government (your taxes).

Give me $50 a year for web hosting fees and I’ll put up a web page that does the same thing and save $654,071.

Where the fuck is all this money going? Have any of you seen a dime, or gotten any support from any of these megabucks suicide prevention organizations? If you read a news story about some guy who blows his brains out on the front steps of the AFSP, that’ll be me. Maybe someone will get the fucking message.
