Do you think humanity is good? Do you think its existence is justified? Would you erase humanity as a whole if you could? Why/why not?
I would say I am pro-human. Sure, the majority of people are ignorant idiots (people can be so dumb sometimes, its really mind boggling) who will take advantage of you whenever possible. Most of people are caught up in their own reality and dont see the bigger picture, they dont even want to see it. And then there are some people that are just straight up pure evil. But I also believe that there is much good in average people too plus there are some genuinely good, loving and caring non-egoistic people (I hope).
I just dont like the idea that humanity as a whole is bad, that it just ruins nature and everything. Some would even go so far to say that humanity is a cancer on this planet and it would be better if it never existed. I would say it is actually a pretty popular opinion. I dont like it. I mean sure we are ruining the nature and its really bad and we should reduce it as much as possible, but I wouldnt say its evil. The industrial revolution improved human life drastically and this is just the price we have to pay. I love animals but it makes me sick knowing that many people actually prefer them over humans. Its kinda selfish but I would say that the real goal of protecting nature is so that we could live in it, not some useless endangered animals like pandas. I would gladly let pandas go extinct and give all that tons of money we invested into them to starving children.
In other words: Dinosaurs released tons of greenhouse gas with just their farts and they didnt seem to give a fuck either. Does it make them evil?

It seems like some people are anti human because of the perception that humans swarm over the planet out of control. That just isn’t realistic though. We are our own worst enemies, and managing large swaths of people has not become any easier.
It isn’t possible for me to be anti human. I need to hope for better, because I’m ruthless enough to destroy myself if I lost all hope. I’m not particularly proud of humans at present, there are some pretty sick individuals out there. I say that not as a judgement pass, it’s that being cruel, loving stuff and money more than people, even denying people healthcare are all symptoms of an illness that is too widespread to be diagnosed.
It’s my measured opinion that depression makes that illness more obvious. The problem to me is the size of the problem. There have been multiple top down approaches to fixing things, none of which work because of the complexity of the issues. Then some tries (though significantly less) have tried to create a bottom up approach, let the masses fix the system…. which is how things got the way we are… There is order, and there are parts that work, but there are some pretty glaring problems.
Then again, I’m the type that will try to fix things that I in no way have training to work on. It’s a compulsion.
Humans think too much. We need too much. We can not live with what we are given, we demand more and more, a consequence of our evolved brains. We do not know how to be content, which is oh so annoying, in that we will happily tax our resources to satisfy our endless neediness.
We are capable of great love, and of great evil, much the same way many other species are, but we hold ourselves above other species for some strange reason, believing that they cannot possibly experience the same feeling of love and fellowship that we do, because they’re “just animals” who do not speak, and therefore are good only for eating and clothing.
We are amazing, in a positive and negative way. We will be our own undoing, and we will probably never see it coming, which is just fine with me. I prefer cats anyways.

This right here is why humans are a virus and a cancer to the planet and everything else. The problem is that you seem to think humans just try to make their life better when they’re at fault for all of their problems you listed.
You ask of preventing starvation of children by sacrificing innocent animals, but humans are at fault they are starving because they conceived those children in the first place. Because of piece of shit morons who can’t fuck without a condom and breed and breed and breed without having any ability to sustain their offspring.
I’ll make it simple. No children = no starving children. Who would’ve thought, right? See, pandas don’t have to suffer and you don’t have to suffer either!

First thing, pandas would be extinct for decades if humans would not find them cute for some reason and protect them. They are useless animals specializing only in one food which is super low on nutrition and super hard to digest. They rarely mate and if so they only have one baby which rarely survives (almost never without help of humans).
Of course people who cant afford children should not have them. But unfortunately we dont live in an ideal world and these kids are here and they are innocent too just as pandas. If you wanna let them die because of their parents stupidity ok, but I would rather let pandas die. I really wouldnt want to take responsibility for my fathers actions for example. And I shouldnt. Therefore the kids are innocent, unless in your opinion they are guilty for just being born as this one species of animals (human).
Nah, the children are innocent, but their parents aren’t. A simple solution would be to, of course, force them to do labor for the planet / animals / whatever they impacted by having children. But obviously, that’s not the case since it’s “perfecty legal” and they demand that it is so. Hence, cancer species.
Note that when I say humans are like cancer, I mean as in the collective. Clearly, there are many innocent humans or even activists fighting against this crap (which puts suffering not just on the planet but also on the children). But it doesn’t matter, since they always end up on the losing end.
When people say they hate “humanity” for example, they refer to the majority which happens to skew these statistical collective, obviously. Otherwise it would be illogical unless they also hate themselves.
There’s nothing wrong with being human, it’s just what humans do that’s the problem, not what they are.
Well unfortunately there is no real simple solution to this. If there was one people would have figured it out already. You cant just force them to labor coz there is no real labor if your country doesnt have developed industry etc. Yes they are stupid for not using condoms but what are you gonna do? Castrate them? Thats fked up.
Also all animals and all life wants to reproduce as much as possible and therefore all life is cancer by your definition, not just humanity.
In complete honesty…i do not believe there is anything in the known universe more terrible than humankind. It is almost as though we were designed by a higher being as a cancer for everything we come into contact with. Destruction and pain are the only products of human existence. There is of course happiness and love in the mix……………to continue the propagation of genes and sustain societies.
The pain and suffering humans cause to one another is almost unfathomable. There is nothing in the tales of Dante’s Inferno that comes close to the actual things humans are willing to do to one another.
Hell is south america. hell is the middle east. hell is china. hell is africa. hell are the conquests. hell was the dark ages. hell is every evil committed behind closed doors every moment of every day.
The death of star and solar system is awe inspiring destruction that contains no suffering. yet each and every day untold misery and pain is felt and given between members of this damnable species.
the only solace in all this is the knowledge that every one of us will be erased from existence one day and human kind as a whole as well.
if there is a god i thank him from the bottom of my heart for that at least
