Life never gets better for some people. It’s just disappointment after disappointment, year after year, decade after decade. You can make all the changes in the world and it won’t make a difference. Nothing ever changes for the better. If anything, things will only get worse as you age. New problems will arise while the issues that have been afflicting you for the better part of your life remain. And the only way to escape this perpetual misery is through death.
