It is time for the media controlled by regressive thinkers and billionaires to shut up , this also apply to the regressive people who don’t have problem to lose years of their lifes and freedom in their luxury houses , it is not a surprise that the icu overwhelmed in certain seasons , death rate by covid is high only when you are old or have immune system problems , so if there is lockdowns or someone support them stay at home while we are the others taking decisions about our health , we are capable human beings don’t need politics to control every aspect of our life , the media is lying and overwhelming the situation they even don’t see the people should have a choice on their health issues , and saying they are stupid to make common sense decisions, it is time to shut them up and control our lifes.if you are lockdown or restrictions supporter , do what you do and stay in your home , but your decisions applied only to you , others are free.

I’m wondering which country you reside in that these restrictions make things so hard.
In either case the world goes through many changes all the way from ancient times too now. We humans adapt and overcome , lockdown will end at some point while other things may never be the same for good or worse. It’s only been around 2 years the world is still coming too terms.
It would be better if that’s how it was, wouldn’t it? Which is why it makes a more compelling narrative for you. Not that I’ll snatch it away, because my belief is that death is to be accepted, not run from.
On the other hand, I live in a state that has had few lockdowns, and have had personal friends die from the virus. I know, you think the numbers don’t justify this course of action. If I could save even one of those I lost, I’d stay home for the rest of my life.
But who knows what is real. Not me, I thought I lived in a world that cared more about people than profit, the last twelve months have been very educational in debunking that belief.
The effect on the economy is my concern , and numbers are showing the worst economic crises worldwide , when it comes to ancient and now times what are you really trying to say? For the point about lockdowns , they will end if you accept that people will die , even if we vaccinate 100% of the population deaths will not stop and this apply to hospitalizations , for lockdowns using them efficient if the virus wasn’t already widespread , this is why the numbers always rise after lockdowns.
Heartlessviking , do you have any idea about how many people die each year ( worldwide ) , it is estimated that 60 million people die each year , there is 216 viruses known have the ability to infect humans , an estimated 10
nonillion viruses living on earth , some viruses are causing cancer and even related to some heart problems , if the ones you loved didn’t died bc covid19 they will still have a chance to die by other viruses even if they locked themselves in a house , this is why it is important to have a strong immune system , so no locking yourself will not cause viruses to disappear , they existed 3.5 billion years before humans. So if you still want to lock yourself do it. It is your decision, but you can’t force others.
