Many of these places are just toxic positivity hugboxes, I hope yours doesn’t end up that way
I don’t think it will. I actually have a rule to not force recovery on anyone.
I personally find that having recovery places “overly helpful” to only make things worse and more isolated, proving that people really don’t understand. I’d like to try to avoid that

i know i have it set to kick people if they log off and havent picked a role. could that be it?
No, it’s legit just dropping me from the ‘cord for no reason. I just want to see how this server goes, I know it’s been done before here. I probably won’t participate that much.
And it won’t let me pick a role, it says the verification level is too high, whatever that means.
im working on it. this is the first one ive made so i have a friend helping me.
UPDATE: no promises on the kicking part yet, but i did change the verification settings from 10min to 0. so hopefully that fixes it??

That could be it. I’m not too familiar how to pick a role. Discord is very new for me.
go to the role channel and click the corresponding emoji under the message for the roles youd like
So I choose two roles. Hope that works. Oh and I sent u a friend request. Im the apollo one.
