of course it is. It can be a hard pill to swallow realizing the one who gave birth to you can’t/won’t give you love, acceptance or forgiveness. Falling out of love might be inevitable but how you choose to continue the relationship going forward is something only you can decide. You can move the relationship into more like a friendship rather than parental or you can take a step back and have more space between you too or choose something completely different. whatever it is make sure its healthy and right for you
