but that’s only a fraction of the ways that sleeping too little shortens your life. The rest of your immune system as well, and we live in a time of deadly pandemics… so probability speaking, that.
It kinda surprised me, I supposed that finding out your life sentence is probably shorter would be good news.
Here’s another upshot; the biggest way that lack of sleep hits your brain is inhibiting conversion of short to long term memory. Meaning, assuming today sucks (probably safe assumption), tomorrow you won’t remember it, and a few weeks from now it’ll be gone entirely.
I’ve stopped rooting for the human body, on average it’s little better than the minds that inhabit them.
