Agreed.
On another note, this may also be the reason why there are no groundbreaking scientists and philosophers anymore. Knowledge overload. Knowledge is nothing special anymore. Everything is available at touch of finger. You don’t have to search libraries, learn other languages, travel to distant places to find things. So it doesn’t feel like adventure.
the problem is a lot of garbage signal, and that’s intentional, the people who pay for garbage systems and garbage signals WANT us apathetic
because critical thinking is on the decline. I’ve dealt with paranoia, internally, and it’s damn near impossible without some decent math skills, the math skills to understand the cost of a given act, to do that act over and over again, fooling me is a fringe benefit, no one is shelling out a few million for that.
because what we don’t know is worse. There’s stuff that the details are buried, immediately, stuff so nasty and awful it makes Steven King look like Walt Disney. and you feel it, people always feel it, but they don’t associate it with the cause because the cause is hidden, then they just figure it’s all the apathy, and the BS bringing them down
I used to think not knowing was better, but if this is the outcome, I’m not so sure anymore. Maybe people need to wake up to the depravity that doesn’t get written down or recorded anywhere but private servers
ppl are never going to wake up. not the masses. only the “fringes” of society like myself and whoever has been red-pilled. there’s been more ppl red-pilled as of late. but still not enough.
when u try to red-pill someone, most adamantly REFUSE to believe the truth, even when you present all the facts to them, bc it would mean everything they’ve been brainwashed to think and believe is wrong.
How does that quote go? Something like this…
“It is easier to fool someone than to show them they’ve been fooled”
