Yeah, I know “life isn’t fair,” but WHY do some ppl have to suffer so damn much? Since literally birth. And then I see so many of my peers not having ever had to deal with ANY kind of adversity or pain in their lives. Many are undeserving shitfucks.
I don’t mind things being a LITTLE unfair. But fucking c’mon. Some of us had to struggle the moment we were conscious. While everyone else just had to focus on playdates, and toys, and etc. And surprise surprise, the ones with loving stable parents are well adjusted and live good fucking lives in their adulthood. And the ones who grew up in poverty, in broken homes, grew up poor- we have with tons of health problems and mental problems and financial problems in adulthood. And then we get BLAMED and SHUNNED by society for being poor, sick, depressed, etc.
I should’ve fucking been aborted while in-utero. Or at least have my life quickly snuffed out at birth. But noooo, I get to suffer a shit existence for many fucking decades.
I’m fucking tired of suffering.

It’s always pretty revealing which why someone comes to. For example, the one I would bring up as the dominant force is intergenerational trauma. We are not as far out from the days where horrible things were commonplace as people pretend. Geez only 70 years ago you could buy a Native American baby…….. just awful, and that’s just the detail that bothers me most, tons of stuff like that happened, we didn’t even have a modern standard for child abuse until the 1980s…… and we haven’t even lived up to that standard.
So, I think we expect a lot of humanity, more than it appears capable of. Not that it’s wrong, we should be pushing the standard of living up.
I also think there’s a specific adult developmental stage where people become more willing to allow suffering if it means protecting their interests. My parents who I consider typical only really care about blood relatives and people they see every day.
Also, as a person who tried to make it better, and might well try again; the process of pushing back is very frustrating. I can at least understand why some people just stay burnt out, stay relatively indifferent to the suffering of others. We can’t even catch the people breaking the laws we have now….. and we’d need new laws to really get to the problem. And I for one know I couldn’t be a lawmaker, so where are good lawmakers supposed to come from? Can we really be surprised that people looking to profit from the position are common?

Yes Eternal, because we have no rules around who gets to reproduce and who doesn’t. We’re still in the Wild West of birthing where poor people with low IQs are ‘equal’ to the most educated and wealthy.
Aside from those of us who understand this problem, because of the bad lives we’ve suffered through, nobody else gives a fark.
And if you try to talk about having some basic standards, they call you a Nazi and other horrible names because they don’t want to imagine it makes sense to take some people’s freedoms away so that their offspring won’t suffer.
You’d need a tough leader to impose this on society, until it becomes ‘normal’ but right now, the status quo is the norm.
So for those of us who had bad lives, then only we can end ourselves. However there have been some improvements…we use genetic screening and weed out fetuses with genetic defects and abort them.
Once abortion because legalized everywhere, then they’ll keep improving standards…at the opposite end of life we have euthanasia and at least in more sensible nations like Canada, it is legal and becoming more and more liberalized.
The religious tyrants have been fighting this for a long time but they’re losing the battle and their numbers are dwindling as more people wake up and realize that religions are trash.
So we will become a more civilized, humane and caring species in time…would be nice to be around to see it happen, but I figure it’ll take another 1000 years.

I’ll add, I hope and bet, if we can create a future utopia, no child will be born into poverty, or to negligent, mentally ill, or abusive parents/homes.
Maybe everyone will at least be considered attractive/pretty…ugliness will be abolished. There will probably be boredom because people won’t have any faults to pick on, but that’s still better than to be the freak in the classroom.
Maybe with genetic engineering we’ll live much longer, healthier, be disease-free, etc.
I’m sure we’ll be a space-faring species by then….it’d be a great time to be alive I think.
Ofc it all depends on which way the world chooses to go. If we have more wars, more fighting over resources, even more disparity between rich and poor, then we could end up in a dystopian nightmare which makes our current time feel like a golden age.
Nothing is written in stone…let’s also not forget there are religious lunatics in Pakistan and Iran for instance who have nukes or plan to get them. They could easily fire them off and destroy western civilization in a sneak attack as they hate us.
It’d be wise to de-nucearlize these dangerous enemies or they could destroy our planet.

which is not to say all the other countries in the world are great. almost every country screws over it’s poor. but the USA in particular is egregious in toppling democracies around the world so we could steal their natural resources.
There are “nuts” and assholes in almost every country. WWIII is guaranteed to happen at SOME point. We may or may not be alive to see it, but 100% WWIII is going to happen, and humans will eventually destroy themselves via either nuclear warfare or via the destruction of our planet (pollution, global warming etc), or via another plandemic. bc we’re dumb as shit and guaranteed to fuck our own species over.
If you had the choice of the whole world being ruled by either the Pakistani Taliban (who they say are one election away from power), the US or China which would you choose?
When the US took over Hawaii, ofc that’s a bad thing, nobody wants to be under imperialist control, but it flourished, look at it today.
If China took over they’d raze those beautiful islands and turn them into military bases.
If any Islamic state took over they’d turn it into a hell holes when it comes to human rights and they’d ruin them like they ruined every nation they invaded and conquered…except places like Dubai where they have a lot of oil money and made it a playground for rich Arabs.
Pakistan has loudly and repeatedly threatened to nuke India and European nations for “insulting their prophet” and burning the Quran. Imagine that these religious wackjobs are ready to exterminate millions of people because some burned a few pieces of paper or insulted their warlord/pedo-rapist so-called prophet.
As an intellectual once said, if Dick Cheney got his way, the worst that could happen is that he’d have Walmarts set up in Iraq. If Saddam Hussein won instead, then millions would live under Sharia law and genocide of infidels would be commonplace.
If you haven’t already, I’d suggest reading about Islamic nations…they’re all either brutal dictatorships or corrupt, terrorist failed states like Pakistan. If you think that nation is more dependable with nukes than western nations, I’d say you have some research ahead of you.
As bad as the US is and we do agree it’s got huge problems, I’d still rather have your nation as ‘ruler of the world’ global cop, than Russia, Saudi Arabia, China, N Korea or any other nation.
As for WW3, yes it could happen, since China, Russia and Islamic nations have been all causing problems for the West…but that’s why I believe in preemptively neutralizing nations like Pakistan/Iran/NK, just take away their nukes and make sure Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other dangerous nations don’t get them and at least a nuclear WW3 is avoided.
We’d also need to expel people who support terrorist groups like Hamas otherwise they can bring terrorism to our own lands…like they did to Israel.
