1- why are there only 297 dislikes?
2- Assholes like Matt Walsh (popular right wing podcaster in the US) will spin this into “drs killing the poor victims.” Right wingers never want ppl to have the freedom and agency to control our own body. The sick will never be allowed to escape our misery.
3- Maybe, just maybe, if we had proper health services and social services for the poor, disabled, depressed, better wages, better opportunities, affordable food and housing, etc.- less people would want to end their miserable lives. But nah….that’s too much logic.

Right winger mentality-
-abortion bad, make it illegal. Oh but also cut social services for poor single struggling mothers so they have no money or food to feed their kids. cuz…logic.
-hates minorities, especially black ppl, but oh- we must stop abortion. uh…who do you think are having all the abortions? and who do you think are popping out all these “undesirable” children?
-hates the sick and poor- oh but we want to cut all social services and healthcare- no universal healthcare for everyone cuz…if you’re poor, you deserve to be fucked.
-preaches love and love thy neighbor blah blah- but hates the poor, hates the sick, hates minorities, hates anyone who isn’t white, christian- hell, they hate their own ppl too- they hate their “poor white trash”- and hates giving even a penny to social service programs that help ppl. So much for “what would Jesus do” cuz you know, Jesus would say “pull yourself up from your bootstraps” -_-

Oh there’s PLENTY to hate on the liberal side too- i’m not just picking on conservatives. But this is in essence right wing logic. They SAY they love everyone bc their Bible tells them to…except they do the opposite and hate everyone that doesn’t look like them, hate the poor, hate the disabled, and hate helping the poor and disabled and mentally ill in any way shape or form. “Love thy neighbor” indeed.

I really appreciate your insights. I don’t know if I’ve told you that before, but you have really interesting insights. I mean they help me.
It’s so easy to feel alone in the idea; What happens when one things leads to another? Jesus ate with sinners and outcasts, not the rich folks, he essential spit in the faces of the rich. Not that I’m preaching the faith. Usually the opposite.
The stupidity and inequality is that old, that they were talking about it 2000 years ago. The people in power saw him hanging out with people that society had discarded and they were threatened. Or so goes the story. Funny how that story got flipped.
The far right goal is to make people poor, then let them die. Accumulating wealth by attrition. It’s not all conservatives that know that, the lower level ones are frightened of change. The really low level ones have anxiety disorders caused by situations engineered by the far right.
and I know the far left has goals that probably aren’t great, but they’re so bad at exposing those goals to policy in the midwest. We don’t see them. We’re sorry about New York and California, but they need to accept their problems.
I’m at the point that it seems to be living a double life, like in Mao’s China. You dare not be anyone else, lest you lose your chance to escape. To fix a place like this takes an army, and I put my charisma pretty high, but not that high. I can’t recruit an army here.

-Aw, thanks. That actually really means something to me. My whole life, I’ve felt like an alien bc the rest of the populace just sees things the way MSM wants them to see, be it left or right. Very few Americans have original thoughts, thoughts that don’t come from MSM or social media or podcasters or whatever else.
This is in part why I feel so alone. I am an outcast among outcasts. I think very rationally and logically, and I think for myself and my thoughts veer from the “accepted” thoughts. And that casts me out from 95% of Americans. How dare we think for ourselves, and question everything. The avg American just can’t handle that, apparently, and I stand by my lonesome.
This is exactly what our elites want- the peasants to do as they’re told, and think only what they are told to think. They must not let us think for ourselves. Hell, why is the education system so bad in America? If they wanted it fixed, it could easily be fixed. But no. They want to keep us dumb- just smart enough to press some buttons and do the grunt work they want us to do and to shut up and be quiet.
Well thanks for that. It feels validating to know that my insights are valuable, that they mean something, that my thoughts aren’t just brushed aside (especially by leftists) as conspiracy theories.
I’m just so tired of living in a world where 99% of ppl are sheeple- “oh here’s some grass, eat it, don’t question it.” “yes, master.” -_-
“The far right goal is to make people poor, then let them die.”
Sadly, that’s also the left’s goal. Yes, the left, bc they are also controlled by the same elites that control the right. Only difference is that the left pays lip service to social programs. They just say nice things, but never actually implement them.
I agree with you that people should be able to end their suffering, I have chronic pain issues and I’ve read stories about people with chronic pain issues that are not able to end their suffering which I think is wrong but I disagree with a lot of other things you say, first calling someone an @sshole just because you don’t agree with them is very narrow minded not to mention a logical fallacy, talk about the issues don’t personally attack people, also you can’t lump everyone into one group, I’d say most people are not r@cist or h@te the poor, some people are resentful that they have to take care of their responsibilities, do what they need to do while others don’t and still get taken, which comes off as enabling, disabled people I get, sick people I get but people making the choices should deal with it themselves, the conservatives want people to take responsibility for themselves, that’s why they don’t want to give tons of welfare to single parents, it’s because they made the choice to have children, now they have to provide for them, it’s not everyone else’s responsibility. Personally I don’t care about abortion but you’re conflating two separate issues both of which have to do with responsibility, if the women doesn’t want to have a kid it should be decided before having s3x, the two most common reasons given for abortion are financial status and not the right time, abortion should not be used as birth control.
