Most normal ppl are into butterflies and unicorns and other sickening things lol. How many of us here are into horror stories, true crime, true medical mysteries, dark tales, death and just weird unusual things? Vs how many here are into 100% “normal” stuff?

I am subscribed to a telegram channel where real life death videos from around the world are posted that were captured in cctv or other cameras.
Horror stories? Me? Nope, no way nada… *tries not to reveal my old childhood desire at making a horror story so intense, it kills people aka the “Death Notes” of horror stories*
As for the other stuff, I can recommend some youtube channels for any who want it. I will also say the youtuber, Plagued Moth, sucks and even I think is a PoS.
oh you have no idea how much i want a Death Note. Heck, I want a “Torture Note.” In Death Note, you can only control a brief time before death. Well 23d isn’t that “brief” but I’d prefer my enemies to live but suffer immensely. Like what those fuckers did to me but x1000.
Hhhhmmm…this is kind of an interesting topic. Is the topic of death and decay, disease and other horrific things considered morbid? If happy things like unicorns and butterflies are happy, they would be the ying to death’s yang. You can’t have one without the other. I think it’s only natural to have an intellectual curiosity towards “morbid” thoughts and ideas. This ranges from light horror films to video games to things like slender man or jeff the killer. People have a fascination with serial killers and unsolved mysteries. This is why we are so susceptible to conspiracy theories. We love the idea of being afraid, and nothing is scarier than the unexplainable. The only reason death is morbid is because messaging around the topic is so negative towards it. I have always gravitated towards morbid things, but I think that’s because growing up that made you the edgy goth kid. However, nowadays it’s mainstream cool to be morbid and dark. So, the stigma is pretty much gone.
I have a lot more than this to say on the topic but i’m using an xbox controller and not a keyboard. I have a work computer and i’m not using it, for this site.
I’m almost as morbid as they come. I think I’d have to become a mortician, which given the events of the last few weeks doesn’t sound so unappealing anymore. I work in the death and the suffering and the misery, then I come home and read horror, watch true crime and so on
Anything can be morbid though, as death is everywhere life is, and a few more places. Butterfly collecting is morbid, pinning dead insects to boards and cataloging them. Heck, I played a game with some pretty morbid unicorns, they kept murdering innocent bistanders!
I overindulge though, get really down into the pits of missing children and whatnot. The whatnot is WORSE, if you can believe it.
So what I tend to prefer is something more middling; morbid with some bent of humor. Awful but ironic. Because most people don’t get it, death is probably the funniest thing of all. Especially what some people will do to avoid it, that stuff is absurd.
I’m still amused by the outcome of this attitude of mine; death can come for me at any time. Tonight if it likes. I’m already living my life as though it’s both about to end and that I may have to endure a few more decades of it. So I have just the slightest of self preservation instinct.
but death and destruction are like potato chips, the more you eat the more you want to eat. There has to be a limiting factor, for me it’s time that I don’t have to read or watch stuff that is less than really stimulating for me.
