It all feels equally empty, so I don’t know from lucky. I didn’t feel appreciated at work, and look at that I wasn’t.
They’ll sell you on it meaning something eventually, but so far I haven’t seen that any of that lasts.
At the very least, I’m grateful you’re all here. It helps me to talk. It helps me to read and listen.
I maintain that some are lucky to be born and others not. The birth lottery. I apply this standard to myself…If I don’t have 7+ figures, don’t have the (admittely supreficial) genetic attributes, mental stability attributes, and the connections to bring someone “priviledged” into this world, then I have no place doing it.
Though far from the worst I feel my lottery numbers have been suboptimal enough to deem this life unworthy of paying forth.
