I personally dislike AI, but sometimes it does make something funny, and my wife made something funny with AI this time because I don’t force her to share my distastes. For context here I’m a white man and she’s a white woman. Granted we both have complex backgrounds, but the AI got a lot wrong here.
So she decided to feed one of our vacation photos into an AI filter because it was popular, totally normal. It was a picture of us cuddling on a seat going up the Gateway Arch in St. Louis Missouri. The first thing that several of the filters turned us into was white girl lesbians…….
I’m dying laughing already. I have trans leanings but there’s no way that is translated into the original picture. I want to emphasize that we were cute lesbians too, I was in no way offended by the interpretation, if I was born a woman and my wife was an entirely different woman (because neither of the women looked like us), I’d be happy to have such a touching moment with my sweetie.
Then the winner of the day came; black girl lesbians. AI, you officially have no idea what or who I am, or my wife. You looked at a picture of us, and said lesbian black ladies, sure. At the gateway arch, they got that right, but black ladies, completely in love.
It’s so hilarious, it almost makes me forget the massive carbon emissions being given off to make such things, but it really is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time because we made such cute lesbians in all of the AI’s hallucinations of our imaginary relationships.
So if you needed a reason to smile….
Also, go watch the new episode of South Park, it’s just, good, I’ve been binging old episodes lately and I’m not near caught up but the new episodes was a delight, especially at the end they did this deepfake of Trump wandering through the desert and then his penis talking……. it’s just wonderful absurdity……
A week after getting fired, it’s just nice to have nice things.

I’ve been hearing a lot about the South Park episode and haven’t seen it yet, but I did catch the “PSA” at the end and was hilariously horrified. I love the 1st Amendment XD
About AI, what scares me the most is that AI is an aggregate of online intelligence. I don’t know how this relates to your photo debacle, but if you ask Google a question in AI mode, all it does is cobble together the most popular answer that it finds online. So it’s really to catch it in an outright falsehood. Just ask it any question that’s popularly wrong, and AI will validate its wrongness by spewing it back at you.
If you want a laugh, ask Google AI what are the lyrics to any song, and I bet it’ll get a lot of it wrong due to all the poorly sourced lyric sites out there who copy from each other. AI is a 1:1 reflection of popular ignorance.
Just now I google AI’d “What’s the first verse of Dire Straits Romeo and Juliet?” (a line that so, so many people get wrong) and AI butchered it beyond belief. It answered:
“A love struck Romeo, sings a streetsong of his soul,
He has found a love that he’s gonna make his own.”
WTAF. lmao. The actual line is
“A lovestruck Romeo sang the streets a serenade,
Laying everybody low with a lovesong that he made.”
I find AI disturbing and terrifying, not so much cute. Whatever you can imagine of asswipe rich ppl asking AI to do- the truth and reality will be far more devastating. The future of humans do not bode well, especially if AI makes 80% of humans worthless and obsolete.
