Something lighter, something fun.
I finally actually watched an episode of the show and I was pretty much right about what it is; kind of a variation on the theme of Scooby Doo. A group of teens with a strange pet that get into strange situations. That’s also kind of the situation with Speed Buggy I think, I’m going to watch that next. Jabberjaw also has some feelings of Sealab 2020(and Sealab 2021) and Johnny Quest. All of these are Hanna Barbara shows with the exception of Sealab 2021 which was produced after the classic era.
I’m getting a serious craving for some Yogi Bear too. I really wish some streaming service would pick up the entire Hanna Barbara catalog because there are so many good shows in there but for now I’ve got to either pirate them the dirty way or rip them off of Daily Motion, and people said Daily Motion was a useless platform. Josie and the Pussycats is also on my list.
I grew up with all the Scooby Doo shows. My favorite is The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo because it has Vincent Price. I’m also rather fond of Flim Flam. The original Scooby Doo show is my second favorite, followed by Pup Named Scooby Doo. The New Adventures are pretty good though, if you haven’t seen them. My favorite animated movie is Scooby Doo on Zombie Island.
Anyway, that’s my nerdery on Hanna Barbara. It’s some of the best animation in the history of broadcast television, and people are still making spin offs and reboots of a lot of the properties for a reason.

I remember this one too. It’s this one, the one I posted, the atom ant one, and the el kabong one that I can think of off the top of my head. Oh yeah and Josey and the ***** Cats. There were a lot of them and they were all very creative. I especially remember the bumpers for Boomerang. The little toys marching to the jingle. I miss those times.
Lmao they censored pussycats cause of the space.
