How accurate are the psychiatrists when they can’t even distinguish between a real patient and one that is normal?
So many people get misdiagnosed ALL the time. Like worse than the weatherman in the 90s (when the forecasts were just as likely to NOT occur than did).

It can be very subjective. This is why many doctors like to conform because while there is no clear-cut tests, there is safety in numbers. If they all get it wrong, they can point at others and say the condition is inherently difficult to diagnose. On the other hand, if one doctor were to do something different from the pack, they may get blamed if something were to go wrong, even if that something has nothing to do with their diagnosis. This is also why they like to shoehorn patients into conditions or narratives that they don’t belong.
