Has anyone played Total Battle?
So I just started playing this game. It was a really fun game- UNTIL they took away all the beginner “freebies” and now you have to pay to get them (faster march, faster collection time, free building finish, binoculars to find mines, monsters, etc.).
All that goes away after 24 hours. And now this game is no longer fun (It’s been 24hrs).
Especially when your protective bubble goes away and your camp gets attacked by others (in 6d).
I am not normally a gamer so I don’t normally play these types of games. And I refuse to pay through the nose for these games so I guess the fun is over now. I guess it’s standard for all these types of games, but again I am normally not a gamer, so it’s really disappointing to quit playing a fun game bc it’s no longer fun unless you pay for “upgrades”
Just a rant. Just like IRL, you can’t win or advance in if you don’t have money or you don’t pay to play.
Edit: should I reinstall the game and re-play up until “Total Development” and free shield ends? (Have up to 7d game play though I can’t advance past a certain level, which you kinda get to in <24hrs.
I like the tutorial and setting up everything. I like that it’s cerebral and complicated. I like defeating monsters.
But I hate having to attack other real players and them attacking me. Too much like real life fighting for resources.
I hate having to join a clan bc that means you’re committed to playing every day or else you get kicked out of clan. And you cannot play without being in a clan (you’ll die and get burned/looted).
Sigh- the game WAS fun (fighting monsters) until you add a realistic IRL element (other players looting/killing each other).
