So I just got a notice today that Yahoo Mail is cutting their mailbox storage to 20GB, down from 1TB free. That by itself isn’t the end of the world, and I”m not singularly mad at Yahoo- but it’s a drop in the bucket of things EVERY giant effing company is doing to us. Since COVID, EVERYTHING has been cut, while costs have risen. From groceries to deliveries to dollar stores no longer being a dollar- EVERY GODDAMN THING has skyrocketed in costs and reduced in services or size.
A single big mac is now $7.61 with taxes here. I got the McArch yesterday and it’s $10.01 for a single burger! Things in the DOLLAR store is no longer a fucking dollar. Items are now 1.50 minimum, with half the items in there now $3, $5, $10 etc. Price of groceries are insane. Do people even go out anymore? Eat out, go out for entertainment, etc. I haven’t since COVID.
I’m tired of this shit. It’s one thing if it’s temporary (it’s not). It’s one thing if it’s only a small # of things it’s affected (it’s not).
Everything should have gone back in prices once COVID ended. But nah. COVID was just an excuse for these bastards to rake us over the coals. After killing us.
And again, it goes back to the American populace being so DAMN PASSIVE and DOING NOTHING is why this keeps happening and things keep getting worse. In other countries, there’s MASS PROTESTS when prices rise or when government or corporations are found to be guilty of corruption. In the US, we just DO NOTHING.
And yes, BOYCOTTS, STRIKES, PROTESTS and RIOTS- DO WORK. Americans need to learn from France, Italy, Norway, Belgium, Finland, and even India. But nah, Americans do nothing, and even shame you for constantly “being angry.”
If these giant AH companies do not receive pushback- guess what? They continue to dick us around.
