There are people out there that have saved lives by taking a bullet for a fellow brother in arms, by rushing into a burning building, by acts of heroism that the world can see. But there are people out there that have saved lives and were not recognized, just shut out in the dark. Nobody knew they had done it, except the person they saved and them. They reach out their hand to help those in tough times, those with depression and suicide. I don’t mean those doctors who help people for pay, I mean those people that actually put their time into helping you. Those people that talk to you, and try to connect with you, those people who still treat you like a normal human even though you’ve done some bad things. These heroes are never mentioned in the news. They are never brought up in conversations. But they saved a life. They prevented a suicide. They kept someone from becoming a drug addict. They stopped a school shooting. Nobody would ever know it but it happened. This isn’t a post about things wished. This is a post on things that are true.
This is a post for the unsung heroes.

This is such a beautiful post. It gives me hope.
Hello Magician,
Nice. 🙂 I call these special souls angels…and I was fortunate to have them in my life. Sometimes for a moment…sometimes for years. Who were these special people to you? Maybe they don’t even realize they were such help…they just thought they were being “human”e. They are probably just survivors themselves…paying it forward. 😀
Peace
