I write poetry to try and get the madness out of my mind. Â It doesn’t really work all that well
The Silence
The silence drives the madness hidden so well away.
It consumes and and makes me go wild with loneliness.
I can’t contain it much longer.
It is bursting and starting to flow with no control.
No control.
I’m going to lose it.
I feel so alone.
So alone and so lost.
I feel like I’m going to cry.
I can’t lose it here.
I can’t.
I feel it growing so large and so great.
Trying to hide it all is making me sick.
It hurts so much.
I feel the tears pricking at my eyes.
The anger and anguish burning to get out.
Its never ending.
