If it were socially acceptable to wear a bag over our heads I think I would be able to do some great things in life. I’ve always felt ugly.. but on certain days.. under certain light, and impossible angles, I can see a somewhat handsome person in the mirror. That’s an extremely rare occurance though.
Okay. What does that mean? Physically ugly, or in a purely “self-image” kind of way? And compared to who?
The facts are as follows:
1. Some people are very beautiful; and,
2. some are very, very unattractive.
3. Sometimes you are both,; and,
4. sometimes you are neither.
5. But most important is what you think of yourself; and
6. who are you comparing yourself to?
I am in the middle of the scale and have always felt blessed to be a 5-6. I do not have the problems of the beautiful or the ugly; at least not on the outside. But knowing what I know… you must surely be talking about a self-image issue. Because my most beautiful peeps are generally the ones that would largely be considered the outwardly unattractive ones. And the ugliest people I have ever known were some of the “prettiest” people I have ever met.

I understand. I’m tall, black, and ugly. Every day is a struggle.

Please reconsider.
