Anybody that has been with CAMHS (Children Adolescence Mental Health Service) comment and tell me what your experience was like with them; mine was okay but there were aspects of CAMHS which i wasn’t impressed with and some factors that led me to get progressively worse!

it made me wanna kill myself more i hated it there
I can say that I wasn’t happy seeing them, they helped me with my meds but when it came to sessions I didn’t feel they helped as they just made me regurgitate all the bad things which resulted in me being more upset.
I saw Bromley camhs and tbh I hated my psychiatrist. She was a ****. She said the same thing every week. I will say though, I have a few friends who saw them and they helped a lot. I’m guessing you’re british.

yeh, I wasn’t very happy either, my final psychiatrist was okay, she was nice and she kept up to date with my meds but I had a few and my first initial one was horrible, he spent 30 minutes with me and just said it was teenage hormones and there was nothing wrong with me. then when I saw another one she felt that there was something wrong with me, something quite big as well. I have heard that they have helped some people too, suppose it just depends on what you like and what works best, we are all different at the end of the day. I don’t know if you can you know.
