You always have choices. You will be fine, dead and gone, but those left who cared for you, loved you and knew you have their lives ruined by your suicide. Do not underestimate the impact of this kind of death on a family. Speaking as someone whose husband hung himself nearly 10 years ago, the images of finding him, the pain, guilt and anger never go away. So many questions left which can never be answered and all so pointless. We all have free will and you will do this no matter what anyone writes, if that is your decision, but just so as your know. I send you some healing thoughts, not being the religious type, that is all I can do for you. Take care. x
Pleasse Dont. Your life is important. What suicidal people dont realize is how much their deaths affect everyone around them? When my friend killed herself, it sent me into a spiral of depression, and one of the only reasons I didn’t end my own life is because I didn’t want to put others through what I had dealt with. Please, if not for any other reason, don’t make others suffer just because you are. Please, go find someone to help you through this. There are people who care, I care. Please take you insulin and live your life!
That’s a pretty horrible way to die, and you probably know as well as I do that it’ll take more than 3 days- it can take years even, and if you don’t take your insulin during that time, you can go blind, or have to have limbs amputated and things like that.
You are precious and God absolutely love you. If you do not think people care about you that is so false and a pure lie. I care about you and I don’t even know you! I hope God spares your life and if you ever want to talk to someone I would love to talk to you, please email me!
Anna, think I know a little more about diabetes than you. Been a type 1 diabetic for 26 years and almost been in one before. I can get my blood sugar up to over 1000 in a day. Please don’t give me lessons about things I already know about
I’ve had type 1 diabetes for 15 years, so I’d say I know a little about it oo. And is that over 1000mmol/l? Forgive me for my ignorance, but I didn’t realise measuring machines went that high. What blood tester are you using? Mine only goes up to 35, and then just says ‘HI’ after that.
And what do you mean ‘almost been in one before’?
Sorry if I upset you in any way, it was just my understanding that you can’t die that quickly from not taking your insulin (or indeed get that high that quickly). That’s what I’ve been taught by doctors ever since I was around 5 years old… sorry if that’s wrong.
Im not too sure but I think she may be talking about a diabetic coma. I am not a diabetic myself but used to work on a diabetic ward and saw the effects that not taking their insulin has on people. It doesn’t look nice.
Anna I am unsure about the 1000 thing to as all the BM machines we used used to say high over 35-40.
Please do not do this. Is there nothing left for you to fight for? I lost my dad, what will be 10 years this year, and it has left a whole in my life that will never be filled. x

cool dude A/S/L i wanna read your obit!
I’m a type 1 diabetic too. I would have thought a massive overdose would be quicker and easier, but personally I’m thinking of jumping.
Looking for a partner — I’m 33 and in Sheffield and I think it’s time. I’m considering the Humber or Severn bridge.
