Ewwww!!! I just got a mouth full of bong water!! ðŸ˜
Anyways.. What are some things you can think of that make up your life, things that don’t seem to compliment your personal idea of “living”?
For me, it’s my job (mostly). It can be pretty nasty at times and unforgiving. Then there are the other times when the gross element hardly exists at all in my work.
Then there are the other parts of my life that come into question..
I use cannabis and I’m kinda lazy to clean my mess so there are black ashes all over my desk in my office where I take my medicine. My bathroom is just as messy cuz I hardly ever use it unless I’m cleaning my fish tank or taking cannabis while on the toilet! lol my car is a mess, I was forced to clean it the other day because we had some heavy dust blow by with a high moisture in the morning that day, so it was covered in dirt and I could barely see out the window.
I could keep going on and on about my messy situation but I guess my point is that:
Keeping your life and your things clean should be a rewarding responsibility, but for me it’s not. It’s as if I’m putting everything off till the last second, like it doesn’t even matter because life is temporary, dirt is temporary. I don’t care what other people say because they are also temporary. I don’t seem to mind sitting in my own filth (so to speak) because to me life is too short to care, what if I died tomorrow…what then? Am I going to spend my final hours cleaning? Will my last thought be of the cleaning product I used or the fresh clean scent it left behind? Am I really going to waste a moment on cleaning a world that I leave behind in the end? To me, people are filthy no matter if they are super wealthy and clean or just dirt poor and homely. It simply doesn’t matter.
There is no washing off the stank of humanity!

I used to smoke weed EVERYDAY, since I was in about 10th grade, I’m 27 now, and only recently stopped. It’s the best thing I ever did. Weed makes things worse man. It’s ok every once in a while, like at a concert or something. But not everyday.
I have a spine disorder that will never get better, only worse. Think of it as.. I don’t really give a shit what weed does bad for a person, I only care that it makes my life less miserable.
Oh and I don’t smoke with anyone, ever. I’m not a social smoker and I don’t have anything in common with other people who smoke weed. I’m not in this to get “high”.
But I’ve quit cannabis a few times in the past. I’ve always had my reasons for trying to quit but none of that matters anymore. If people want to not smoke cannabis that’s ok with me. And I don’t condone that everyone uses it. There is too much stupidity floating around out there already. 😉
How happy we are in our lives is directly related to our attitude in and towards life. The fact may very well be that you have a spine condition that will never get better and only worse. If that was me, I would also have a very difficult time with life, and I wish I could help you. Honestly, if we ever met, I would sit down and smoke a blunt or joint, or bowl, or whatever you wanted, and just talk and show you, that yes we do have quite a bit in common.
Ah!
RT… Some people told me that smoking weed could relieve my chronic pain. I’m not really considering that; I mean, my relatives think that I already smoke and I don’t lol. But do it really helps to relieve your pain?
@Tristeza- that’s a complex question with yes and no answers. Many people will blindly claim it doesn’t work and many will blindly say it does work for chronic pain.
I’ve gone to school to learn the science behind cannabis in order to use it more effectively. When you know what your smoking and what it’s components are it is easier to decide how, where and when it will be most effective. And based around my knowledge of whats available, I can make educated and economical decisions.
I have to balance the way I use my cannabis over a range of different consumption methods like combustion, vaporization, ingesting, aromatic and topical methods. Mostly I stick to the first 4. Cannabis can come in many different forms and it is important to know what you are smoking. 😉 but wether it takes away the pain is irrelevant I feel, as long as it gives a person a sense of relief in their mind, which is what cannabis is really intended for. It’s meant to keep us calm and in touch with our senses and emotions.
Did you know that we have cells in our bodies that would remain useless if it wasnt for the chemicals in cannabis? These chemicals are like keys that open locks (cells) in our minds and bodies. Chemical compounds that can only be found in nature. Man has not yet perfected the compound and may never find the key to the miracle behind cannabis.
@RT “Man has not yet perfected the

the miracle behind cannabis”
Thanks for your detailed answer! 😛
Seriously, it is a good comment, helped me to clarify some things.
I used to smoke everyday as well. The first few times it was for “fun” but then I realized it helped me cope with bullshit and I became very very dependent on it to the point I needed to it function. I couldn’t even think without it. Luckily my old best friend sold it and had no problem giving me weed for free for a while but I became too reliant on it and when the affect became more and more weaker and dull I began to realize nothing can free me from my reality permanently like I tried to do with weed. I think if you are able to use it in moderation it’s a great help but once you become addicted like me it loses it’s affect.
Moderation is good if you smoke every so often, but when you smoke as often as I do, the only moderation is the method of smoking and switching the kind of cannabis I take. For example: I smoke out of a small metal pipe and when I can’t get a lasting effect from that I switch to a water pipe. When that doesn’t work I switch to a rolled joint. When that doesn’t work I use my special vapor pen with oils that I save for this reason. After using the vapor pen for a while I can switch back to the metal pipe. Also there are different kinds of available cannabis that create different kinds of lasting effects. Switching these around makes it so your body doesn’t get use to just one. There are variations like Sativa and indica and many sub variations from those 2. Switching them around makes it so the body doesn’t build a tolerance to just one kind of cannabis medicine. That way the effects stay beneficial to the parts of the mind and body that need them most.
I use to buy half pounds of one kind of cannabis, eventually I wouldn’t get the same effect as when I would first start smoking it, I would get sick of it. That’s why I never buy more than a half ounce of one kind anymore. I always switch it up.
@RT30 Dude I don’t know where you live but around here there are only 3-4 maybe 5 types of weed available. Regular, O.G Kush, Purple haze, Diesel, and Cali. Usually only the first 2 are available the others come in time to time. Well at least when I was smoking they did. There really isn’t much selection around here you have to take what you get. All I did was roll joints from swisher sweets or white owls. I tried a pipe a few times but the weed lasted longer in a rello so I got use to doing it that way. I wish I lived somewhere where more strains were available and knew the information you do… I probably would have been better off buts its too late now.
Would you like your last words/thoughts to be something like: “sorry it’s so nasty in here…”
I personally find the lived-in filth-buildup to be quite disgusting and unacceptable. It will build up if you don’t moderate it regularly. And then you have to do serious cleaning, which takes days, and requires lots of uncomfortable, painful, possibly detrimental motions. It’s best to avoid making the mess in the first place, and if you make a little mess, or notice something accumulating in corners/cracks/whatever, to just go ahead and knock it out, so it doesn’t have to become a house in need of total overhaul. Because NO ONE likes doing a house-cleaning overhaul.
When you eat a quick snack, use a paper towel, or a plate, or eat over the sink.
When you shave/clip, clean up as soon as you’re done.
Try not to smoke inside. It puts a gross sticky yellow/brown film on everything, and the constant respiration of particulate matter (even from cannabis) can cause health problems.
You probably already spend enough of your days breathing crap (not talking about the bud). Give yourself some clean time. Maybe do one residential cleanliness overhaul, and then install HEPA filters on your intake vents for A/C and heat.
Prevention is important. Avoid making the mess, and there will be less mess to clean. Less mess to clean, means it takes less time and energy to maintain.
Everything you do, each little action, adds up, and is important. Each tiny bit of mess you take care to avoid making, is one less mess you have to clean, one less bit of nasty in your life requiring energy spent on maintenance.
And watch the water level in those bongs. Ugh.
But yeah. I agree: i’m not in it to get “high.” I’m in it to make my body feel better, in order to ease my mind. And i certainly don’t mind the elevated mood, increased focal intensity, and lifted spirits. I don’t mind smiling widely and laughing at ridiculousness. But it’s hard to feel good at all, when you’re in constant physical pain. Interestingly enough, it’s also hard to alleviate physical pain, if you’re in a bad mood. Cannabis works on both ends of that problem at once, with minimal, negligible side effects.
I haven’t smoked in… 16 months? Cannabis isn’t a “cure,” isn’t really a “solution to life’s problems,” but it sure as hell does help. Life certainly sucks a lot more without weed.
@pain- fortunately where I live you can find hundreds of different strains. But to tell you the truth, with what I know I could make the few that are available to you work for me as long as I can keep the supply coming in. If I was stuck with just one strain, it wouldnt be so easy.
@Clever- I keep my cleaning minimized to my living room and any other part of the house that my wife will be in. There is no point in cleaning places that I will only see. It’s funny cuz compared to my brothers family, my house is spotless cuz he has kids. hehe
You’ll have to let me know if you end up smoking cannabis again, cuz I know that’s a long time to go without something you like to do.
I’m lucky I can smoke now as I write this
