Would Antifreeze kill you if you drank it? How much would kill a person, and how long would it take? Would it be incredibly painful? Some Football star offed himself this way.

Yes, it can kill you, but if for whatever reason it doesn’t work you WILL become a vegetable.
Yeah, it will definitively kill you through kidney failure. Apparently half a liter is the lethal dose. I saw in an episode of “Medical Detectives” that a woman used it to kill her two husbands (one after another, of course).
However, I do not know how painful it is; certainly is not the most pleasant method. Besides, it often tastes very bitter in order to avoid accidental consumption.
Did you know that antifreeze is an ingredient in soda pop? It’s called ‘polyethylene glycol,’ or ‘propylene glycol.’
I’m not kidding either – several times in the dead of winter I tried leaving a bottle of soda outside. The contents all froze except for a portion, which consisted of this chemical. It makes you think.
