And if there is..Then god is worse than all the most vile serial killers combined. Worse than Mao, Stalin, Hitler, and all the rest of the evil scumbags who were allowed to commit mass genocide under gods watch. For god allows all this shit to happen and doesn’t stop it. Rape, murder, torture, the whole lot. It’s all meaningless suffering. I’ll leave you with this bible verse from Ecclesiastes. I’m no longer religious but this is a relevant verse to us suicidal folks.
I saw the tears of the oppressed—and they have no comforter;power was on the side of their oppressors—and they have no comforter.2And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive.3But better than bothis the one who has never been born, who has not seen the evilthat is done under the sun.

Look out, they’ll all just start telling you about free will or some crap. There’s always an excuse.
We’re just animals and what you want to make of that is up to you. For some of us, where losing and failure is as habitual as the sun rising, the sun still never seems to have risen for us to enjoy. If you believe that personal responsibility is right within a community of others of the same kind, stay strong and don’t take shit from the multitude of marauders who think pillaging is an acceptable way of life.
@Fro-not-so-zen; The last sentence you wrote sounded like an invitation to an intentional community. I spent time at one once and that was sort of their credo. Self sufficiency, self sustainability, rejecting the 9-5 rat race mentality, etc. A group of mostly like minded people. It was pretty cool.
Unfortunately, the hippies there were vegetarians who didn’t like cigarettes, guns, money or beer. Aside from that though they were pretty solid.
Yeh, the problem with all those communities is that they are about as deluded as the religious cults. Nothing that is worth existing can come together over dreadlocks and bark soup, with the sole reason of escaping the reality of oppression.
The food wasn’t bad. I ate a bunch of apples, cherries, granola, and stuff I’d never seen or heard of before. You forgot to mention the drum circle and the holding hands in a circle part. They were into that too.
It’s funny thinking back on it now. I went there on my motorcycle, everything I owned fit on my bike. I brought a gun with me, my trusty little .22. It seemed like a nice environment for checking out.
Eventually I left, rejoined the rat race, and became a low grade alcoholic who frequents suicide sites. It feels like I made a lateral move.
People love to talk about change…
But it’s like no one ever wants to talk about all the skulls which will need smashing, prior to that change becoming available, or how many more will need smashing afterward, in order to maintain the corrected direction.
Don’t bother building anything you can’t protect; it’ll just get smashed by all those people who band together to stop people from doing things differently, regardless of whether different also happens to be Better.
“Look out, they’ll all just start telling you about free will or some crap. There’s always an excuse.”
Writing this doesn’t make the argument invalid. If God hadn’t given you responsibility and a free will and instead controlled everything you do in order for you to not even be able to make mistakes you would be complaining about that and not even consider the negative things about a free will. Ultimately God had to make a decision, and he entrusted us with this world and gave us free will because he believed in us as much as we believe in him.
I am not judging you because you don’t believe in God but because you call faith – which is the meaning of life for so many Christians – crap. Free will comes with the possibility to deny the existence of God. But free will also entitles us to be tolerant to other beliefs and ways of living – and by writing your post with your free will you chose to be intolerant.
Again, I do NOT judge you for not being religious, but I judge the way you talk about religious people, act like religion was some kind of joke or delusion and how stupid people must be to believe in something that cannot be proven scientifically.
Where was this place Colorado? I’m just assuming because youre always talking about the broncos and the chargers
Light doesnt mix with darkness 😉

Checkmate.
Good post. This makes sense. I can’t believe there is a God who would let people suffer like this. But I find it hard to believe there is nothing after death, despite the fact that I wish so badly for there to be nothing, no more pain. But I think there will be something I just hope it will be better than this life
