I (x) out all the tags because I don’t want my post to be tagged, but every time I delete them and click update, it keeps showing back up!! Â How do I get rid of them? Â Please help.

Are you using Quick Post or going through the actual Add New Post process? I think if you turn off the “Tag” module in “Screen Options” whilst making a new post, it should remove the tags. Can’t verify ATM as I’m on my phone.
No, screen options won’t remove tags. All posts are auto-tagged. You simply need at least one tag on a post, so delete all of them, and then put in a common word like “the” if you don’t want to use tags.
