What’s the point of suicidal thoughts if they won’t ever be translated into action? They’re just torturous. Getting better looks like a giant, long, leaking tunnel- almost impossible to move through. Yet death isn’t an option. How do you remedy this?

What do you mean by “death isn’t an option?” Are you unwilling to consider attempting suicide at all, or do you want to but find the prospect too frightening to try even though you want to, or do you just lack the means?
first of all suicidal thoughts come to a person usually for a reason….. LIke a person being really unhappy in life, being very sick and or in a lot of pain. Or they suffer mental and emotional pain from some way > Like maybe loss of a loved one or maybe they have been in an abusive relationship. Or maybe they lost theur job and their home and now feel hopeless. So their is a point to suicidal thoughs Its something that comes upon people when they are hurtingin some deep way and are hopeless for the future.
Second of all death is an option. Figures state that around 800,000 people die by suicide each year in the world.
I personally know of doens of people who committed suicide and were sucessful at it.
But I hope you dont do it. I hope your able to pull your life together and move forward and have a good life
If death isn’t an option for you, then maybe the ability to turn your life around in which it pleases you is. Do what makes you happy.

Almost, but not entirely. It seems your more worried about the condition and the rough ride of the tunnel then of its destination. Then again, your the only one who decides if the tunnel will be a rough ride.
My point: Happiness should not be a destination, more of a path of life.
"Yet death isn’t an option."
We are all living organisms, no? Death has been imminent since our birth, but suicide does give you the option of calling it quits early. But then again, why do you find it difficult to translate your intentions into action? Maybe its best to embrace that difficulty and find solution to your deep rooted problems than silace in suicide, something your not entirely sure about.
