I just wanted to be a boy

I am transgendered too. I am MTF. It’s a hard struggle, but it is worth it.

You are fortunate to have to guts to begin dressing how you like. I applaud you for that!
All the way up to my final year of college, I hid my identity. I dressed in boy’s clothes until the last year, although I had been receiving hormones since my last year of high school.

And it sucked to hide it. I wanted to be myself sooner. But I was worried and scared of other people. You’re a lot stronger than me because you could tell your mom and buy the clothes meant for you. I couldn’t do those things until I was almost out of school. I felt like such a coward.

Here is what you do about bullies: Go to the police. Some teachers are lazy and good-for-nothing. They have their own morals and beliefs which guide their actions. They don’t care about the law. Even principals don’t always care. There are a lot of bad apples.

The police, on the other hand, must follow the law. They can’t let their own morals get in the way.
If someone assaults you for being transgendered, that is a “hate crime” and it is more serious than assault. Those bullies WILL be arrested and WILL go to court and probably WILL go to prison.

I once made someone really mad (I did something really mean, actually) and he grabbed me and said “I’m going to f’in kill you!!). But then he let me go. The next day, I told the police. They came and took him away. He came back about a month or so later and never talked to me again.

People can’t just make threats or push others around like that. Society shouldn’t work that way. Tell the police, and if they don’t listen, tell their chief. If he doesn’t listen, tell the mayor.

Someone WILL help you put a stop to it.
