[Singing] ~bacon pancakes, makin bacon pancakes, gonna take some bacon put it in the pancakes, makin pancakes, makin bacon pancakes maaykin pancaaaakes~
Ahh, so it’s that kind of hope. Haha. How freeing.
Whenever I think of a sunrise, I think of that sunrise I saw rising right up over me when my uncle took me to go fishing out in the Chesapeake Bay. He got me up at four AM and dragged me out on the water while it was still dark. Was a really choppy day but there were no clouds whatsoever. So when the sun rose, nothing was blocking it. The sun was a humongous red ball just rising up in front of us as if right out of the water. Like the Japanese flag or something. I’ll never forget it.
I totally thought I was gonna die that day, too. The water was so rough and freezing and the boat was so puny and terrifyingly fast and we were right under the key bridge. There was a drunk boating accident later that same day, and it killed two women.
As scared as I was, I felt alive too. I like it when nature makes me feel small. It’s exhilarating.
Sorry for that ramble. I have no idea why I just told you all that.
Thanks. We didn’t catch any fish that day, which was disappointing. But I caught a log, and the log had a bunch of crabs in it, so technically I caught crabs. 🙂

Mmm bacon. Now I wish I had some.
I wish, man.
Cool picture.
Something about the sunrise gives me hope…
Kinda makes me want to drive off a bridge.

So, you caught CRABS WITH YOUR UNCLE!?
I like how the picture is blurry. Like a snapshot in time.
Or… like it was taken at a pretty good rate of speed
