UPDATE: It appears to only effect posts from mid May on. Which is a relief. I can handle editing the few I have posted since mid may. All of them though? OMFG That would be a nightmare.
UPDATE: Can’t find a way to fix my account to take it off all my past posts, and I can’t think why anyone would want this entire site Pinned. (Pin It! Imagine the possibilities hu?). So I guess if we all politely ask that the button be toggled off they might do it for us. So email the admins at the.suicide.project at gmail.com, tell them how much you like the site, be sure to compliment them. No bashing please. Then request the social media button get toggled off to protect past posts that are in danger of being pushed out to social media without their knowledge, which could possibly put them at risk or in danger. Espeicially if someone has a violent spouce or significant other that might read it and take action.
Click off this button. I’m looking to see if there is a mass way to do this for previous posts or a way to make it a setting on my account. There is no way I want those buttons on any of my posts. I can see the added value for some folks here, but not me.

Well I emailed the admins asking that they toggle the site default to OFF for social media. There is a way they can do it. Most likely Workpress pushed out an update of sorts which is why the site crashed over the weekend. They most likely can’t do much about the fact that Wordpress did this.
If we all politely email and ask that they toggle it to off I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t. They have one other things for us in the past, like turn on IP addresses when there were suspected multiple name users. They also turned off IP addresses for us when we asked. Even though it isn’t our site they still try to make things enjoyable for us around here, which I appreciate.
So POLITE is key here. Thank them for providing us with this awesome place to park our sad a fuck selves and then ask if they can toggle the social media button to OFF. Then we have a choice. Some people may like that functionality. I’d just like to NOT have to go back and toggle off all my past posts and there is no default way to do it on my account, which is a free account.

It is either that or I’m going to delete all my posts in a fit of paranoia, which I don’t want to do because I’m doing pretty good right now.

I didnt feel very comfortable posting here if this site was all rigged up to those social media sites. but it seems its gone now. YES!!!
