I’m an athiest, but hypothetically if some of us were actually in hell just now would we actually know it? I’m guessing there wouldn’t be any signposts saying “welcome to hell” when we actually arrived.
Well I have to tell you. I do believe in hell. Its not something I was brainwashed to believe in by religion. I have actually spent years studying Near Death experiences and have come to believe that Hell is a real place. Because often there are people who die for a few minutes and then are revived by paramedics and some of them > say that for the few minutes they were clinically dead > that they were in hell and that it was a place of torment and intense suffering. So I believe its a real place that some people wind up in after they die. Trust me if you are alive on planet earth and posting > you are not in hell at this point. Your life might be going badly. But you are not in hell. When a person really does wind up in hell after this life. They will know it for sure. There will be no mistake about it. I hope that none of us go there > and I feel bad for people who do. I truly believe its real and that its an awful place to be. Much more awful then any bad situation a person can wind up in during this life.
I think it’s quite easy to notice if you are in hell or not. Hell is burning, eterna torture in every thinkable way and knowing there’s no way out, eternal hopeless situation. I think it’s easy to recognize.
Hell is no more real than Superman or his home planet Krypton. They are both the products of human imagination. Anyone who actually believes such a place exists is simply bat-shit crazy.
As for the claims of NDE (near death experiences) these have all been thoroughly discredited by science. It’s well known the mind has delusions/hallucinations, esp. when near death/deprived of oxygen, it’s nothing new.
If parallel worlds or other realms existed, the first people to tell us would be scientists, not some idiot with a mythology book that was written by primitives from the Bronze Age.
People can relax, this is the only life we get. When we die, so does our mind/consciousness, there is no afterlife. If there was, we’d all know about it. So the key is to make the most of the life you have since we’ll never have another one.
The only possibility I’d consider-even though it’s not backed by science is reincarnation. Perhaps consciousness which exists at the quantum level may transfer to a new body. It is pure speculation on my part so I don’t take this idea too seriously.
Yeah, I think I could have a few beers with Satan chillaxing, and getting the dancing girls in. Party time.
With Jesus I’m gonna have to sit around on a cloud trying to explain why I’m an imperfect human even though if he exists he made me that way. His suffering only lasted a few days, mine is infinite.
I always imagined that I would be walking along a rock bridge in a deep cavern and there would be magma and fire kinda all around. I’d be really confused and looking around and then start chuckling and go, “Ohhhh…this makes a lot sense.”

Maybe it is like a ladder, and our life is someones else’s hell, while their life is our heaven.
