positive thinking is good for people who are AT LEAST neutral , that have an neutral thinking but they still do positive and active stuff … But at this end of the spectrum ( people with depression , and so on ) , positive thinking is as corrosive as acid . Because negative thinking will always dominate and affect actions and results , and everyone knows what happens when you mix expectations created by positive thinking with depression , anxiety , you name it … In most of the cases the attempt ends in failure and the person gets even worse … i am not trying to make things worse , i am not trying to discourage anyone . But you should not consider an personal opinion a truth for everyone , everyone is different and everyone has its own problems , its own style of life , personality , past , thoughts .. and so on . You just simply can’t say things get better without understanding the individual circumstances of a person … i could give endless examples , but what would be the point ?
