I love Amazon, but wtf is with the shipping? I ordered 5 items (all at the same time) and it’s coming in 5 different packages. It all goes to the office and it makes me look bad having to pick up so many packages all the time. It gives the office staff more work and yes, it affects how they treat you. I’ve been laying off ordering lately precisely because of this. But I thought what I ordered this time would at least come in 2 boxes, not 5. Effing A. Not to mention that it’s shitty on the environment and totally wasteful.
Yes, I know there are different warehouses these come out of, but there have been many times where the items are all from in the same warehouse, and they *still* send it to me in multiple packages. AND they’ll put one teeny item into a HUGE box or HUGE envelope (like a 1oz bottle of something). If they just packaged it properly, half the stuff would fit in my mailbox, or all fit in ONE box, not FIVE.

A while back I had to send two separate sets of paperwork to the same company but they provided me with two different addresses. I sent both sets via Priority Mail because I wanted to be able to track them. One went directly to the correct address and the other one ended up being forwarded to the same address. When I talked to them about this, they asked where I got the incorrect address. I told them, “I got it off the paperwork YOU sent me”. This was a minor issue compared to what they ultimately did to screw me over. It was an insurance company, by the way.
